There is even a square called &#8220;Plaza Palestina&#8221; in San Salvador along with one named after Yasser Arafat. Many of the guerrillas had Palestinian blood and a small number of Guerrillas were even trained by the PLO in 1980\/81.<br><br>Throughout the Salvadoran civil war there was a pirate radio station acting as part of the FMLN (The Guerrillas) called Radio Venceremos. It was a radio of struggle and freedom broadcasting hidden deep within the Mountainous Jungle in El Salvador. They provided information about interactions\/fights with the army and broadcast songs, speeches and interviews along with other Revolutionary material.
